Last updated: [Month Day, Year]
This Donation Policy governs voluntary contributions made to support the Operator's work under the GRAAM Institute / GRAAM Labs brands.
1) Donations are gifts
Donations are voluntary gifts intended to support research, development, and operations. Donations do not constitute payment for goods or services unless explicitly stated in writing by the Operator.
2) No quid pro quo; no rights
Donations do not grant donors any ownership, control, governance rights, preferential access, or entitlement to influence the Operator's activities or outputs.
3) Transaction responsibility (if applicable)
If donations are made via digital assets or public networks:
- Transactions may be irreversible once confirmed
- Network fees may apply
- You are responsible for using the correct address and network/standard
- We are not responsible for transfers sent to incorrect addresses or via incompatible networks/standards
4) Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we elect to refund at our sole discretion. If you believe you donated in error, contact us promptly.
5) Tax treatment
We make no representations about tax deductibility. Any tax treatment depends on your jurisdiction and our status at the time of donation. Consult your tax advisor.
6) Right to refuse or return donations
We may refuse, block, or return donations at our discretion, including for legal, ethical, or risk-control reasons.
7) Public visibility
Certain donation methods may be publicly visible (e.g., on public ledgers). We do not control such networks and cannot guarantee privacy of public transactions.
